Kitchen appliances have changed dramatically over the years gone are the days of the white cubes in the house and in come the days of integrated washing machines, integrated dishwashers etc.. Not only that but they can also be supplied in a wide range of colours and attractive modern designs. They haven’t stopped there either things such as AEG Ovens are leading the way with energy efficiency in their kitchen appliances and lowering the noise levels of them at the same time.

The digital age and mobile integration isn’t staying away from kitchen appliances either more and more we are seeing the capability of networking being used in things such as integrated washing appliances and integrated dishwashers. Bizzare as it may sound but you can switch on your kitchen appliances from you mobile phone, you’re in a restaurant and realise you have not put your integrated washing machine on, or maybe you’ve gone to bed and realise you have forgot to switch on the integrated dishwasher, not a problem, use your phone. AEG ovens are at the cutting edge of design and technological advancements that are occurring with kitchen appliances by implementing all that the digital age is bringing.

When looking for new kitchen appliances nowadays there is so much more to consider as the cost savings over the life of the kitchen appliance can be considerable. just like cars, kitchen appliances are required to meet certain guidlines and legislation when it comes to performance and energy efficiency. These kitchen appliances are given energy ratings to measure how eco-frindly they are. when you are looking at these kitchen appliances look out for these ratings, most retailers clearly display these for you to see when you are choosing your appliance.

There are some sceptics who think that these regulations affect the build quality and reliability of the kitchen appliances. While this may be true as I am not in a position to say, if this were the case would a kitchen appliance manufacturer like AEG ovens offer such long and unrestricted warranties on their products?

its ok for manufacturers to produce quieter and greener kithen appliances, but how does this effect the end product? how clean will your integrated dishwasher get your plates? will your whites be whiter than white when they come out of integrated integrated washing machines. With many kitchen appliances manufacturers coming up with their own ways of making their own range of products better at what they do or supposed to do.

We dont know what changes technology will bring to kitchen appliances over the coming years, but we do know that they will continue to evolve and become even more energy efficient.
